HOUSE SALES AND RENOVATIONS |
It is quite possible to buy holiday houses in South West Brittany which are suitable for immediate use and often have several acres of land for a total of £30,000 - £40,000. The area has many attractions, notably the many sandy beaches, the lack of urban development and the quality of the food. It is also handily placed for the Channel Ports of Roscoff (about 1½ hours drive with crossings to Plymouth) and St. Malo (about 2 hours drive with crossings to Portsmouth). |
| I have had a house in Brittany for many years and have used it as a base to explore the area in detail. I have built up excellent working relationships with several local notaires (solicitors/estate agents) and regularly sift the houses for sale on their books for those properties which would be suitable as holiday homes for British families. | |
| Many of the houses are in good habitable condition (see example below). In other cases bargains are to be had by buying houses which need renovation. I can help here too as I have built up a team of local craftsmen and builders who specialise in such renovations. | |
